About
My name is Monique Bartosh and I help people connect with their loved ones through the gift of flowers. So often people these days are lost in cyberspace, head down addicted to their screens (I am absolutely guilty of this myself).
Flowers are quite possibly the ultimate gift - because they are temporary. We don’t need fancy possessions or junk that sits around the house. Flowers give a gift of reminding us that life is best lived now because we never know what tomorrow will bring.
Growing flowers and creating bouquets for you to enjoy and share is a way I offer you to connect to nature and come back to a relationship with the magic of life itself.
Not only do I source flowers that have only been grown within New Zealand (you won’t believe how many cut flowers in New Zealand have come from overseas). But I grow my own flowers where possible. I go further and try to source flowers that are organic, spray-free and from local growers! Spray-free is important because you don’t want to be gifting flowers to loved ones who may end up breathing in these chemicals.
I am fanatical about each bouquet I craft so that you get to share special moments of joy, reflection and love with the people you care about the most.
Formally I have worked designing and making costumes for dance companies like the Royal New Zealand Ballet, running my own business working on high end wedding dresses and educating children in the outdoors. In my spare time if I’m not in the garden you will find me reading a good book or dancing Tango.
